The Jungle Lodge Hotel (Posada de la Selva) is located a few kilometers from the central plaza of Tikal, in the midst of the luscious humid tropical forest of Peten.

It is located in the heart of the Tikal National Park. The park, which has an area of 575.83 km2, was created in 1955 and declared world heritage in 1976.
